The Best Father/Daughter Dance Songs

Creative DJ Services, Vancouver's best DJ, Bride and Dad dance at wedding

Creative DJ Services offer a free dance mix for your First Dance or your Bride/Father & Groom/Mother Dance!

The Father/Daughter is always a tender moment and choosing a great song can make it even better. It’s always a great idea to include your Dad in the decision process. Not only does that honour them but let’s face it, if you are having a hard time choosing a song it takes all of the pressure off of you and don’t you have enough decisions to make already?

If you really want to take the entertainment value, effectiveness and fun quotient to an entirely other level one of the free services that we are known for is our Dance Mix. We usually do this with you and Dad and your new Husband and his Mum dancing simultaneously but sometimes we’ll do it with just the two of you.

We’ve done this at least a hundred times and we have NEVER had it disappoint! It’s important to note that you don’t have to have ANY dance talent of any kind to make this a special moment in fact it’s often more entertaining when you DON’T have much in the way of rhythm.

A recent example had us rolling about a minute of Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud interrupted by our long record scratch and then the mix goes through Michael Jackson’s Thriller (quickly) into Gangham Style (it’s a hoot seeing mums and Dads do the pony riding dance that goes with it and quickly into Chubby Checker The Twist. Sometimes we’ll go back to the original slow tune that started the mix to book-end the presentation but most often our clients want it to end on The Twist!
