One of my few groom duties for the wedding was to find the DJ. After getting a few quotes, I came across Scott who gave me the fairest price and seemed the most enthused about doing it. After meeting up before the wedding, he put most of all our worries to rest due to his professionalism and his glowing personality. He was also instrumental in guiding and providing suggestions for the entire wedding itinerary. There was a slight worry due to the age difference, but Scott was able to take our few song suggestions and use that to create a setlist that had 100+ people dancing for 5 hours. Absolutely electric. Great service, great price, and helped make the wedding fun with the music and joining in on the dancing. Thankful for the great job they did at our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! Everyone, both the young and the old, loved their approach to managing the music and the entire evening. They really are more than just djs as Scott was such a godsend in helping us with our planning and showing us what works and a lot of fun things that he could add to our wedding that don't cost us anything but made our wedding 10 times what it would have been without his expertise and help!! Our favorite thing is that they consult with you before and really made it a super fun experience and go over the timeline which is SO important. They educated us and showed us lots of fun ways to address the same old boring way of doing things. Without this planning help our wedding would have been only a fraction of what we ended up with. Seriously, if you want a DJ that actually cares about your big day while making sure you and your guests are entertained they are the bomb!

A stellar experience
Our experience was wonderful and they made it all so easy with the way that they took us through all of the planning. They educated us about what weddings do that are not good and then gave us lots of really great ideas that made all the difference in our wedding. So good at hosting our reception and the best MC we've ever seen at a wedding. We ended up hiring Scott Barratt at Creative DJ Services and he was PHENOMENAL!
My (now!) husband and I are music fanatics. Every vacation we go on is based around following our favorite band. We are kind of music snobs so I was pretty set on making our own playlist since I didn't think a DJ would be able to capture what we wanted. I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. We ended up hiring Scott Barratt at Creative DJ Services and he was PHENOMENAL. As soon as the day started, I instantly saw we made the right choice by hiring him. He brought so much life and energy to the dance floor, but it was even more than that. The timing of songs during cocktail hour, the music played between speeches was handpicked for each speaker, he was able to announce during our first dance when we wanted other guests to join us on the dance floor, the list of ways he helped us goes on and on. He uses his equipment to determine how many beats per minute each song is and picks the song so that they all work together, so that guests inherently get to know the rhythm of the order of songs and know they won't get up for a fast song and have the next song suddenly changed to a slow song. His equipment was all super current and really elevated the evening. We had no technical glitches and volume, timing, energy was exactly right at all times through the day. Aside from that, Scott is a super interesting guy. I wish we could have spent more time visiting with him! He seems to have lived an interesting life and is a social, relatable guy you could easily sit down and have a beer with. I am extremely picky and have been called a bit of a control freak but I trusted Scott's judgment completely. I don't say that about just anyone.

We hired Creative DJ services because we were referred by a friend who had used him at their wedding. We were very impressed by their professionalism. I had a lot of obscure requests in music and they had every single song I was looking for and were even familiar with them. He also conducted a follow up meeting with me a week prior to our wedding and sent some of our music selections to verify that he had the correct versions. We changed up a couple of things last minute and he met all of our last second requests. They were wonderfully responsive to all our emails and calls and we would never find any one more caring, nice, fun and wanting to help.

Creative DJ was one of the highlights of our wedding and one of the best choices we made with our wedding. Really professional in every sense of the word. Scott was the DJ at our wedding in September of 2014 and he did a fantastic job. From the first time we contacted him to the day of our wedding, he made things easy and smooth. Scott did more than an average DJ. He helped us think of things we hadn't considered for our wedding and we even rearranged our timeline based on his feedback. In terms of DJing, he was flawless. Thank you for the fantastic DJ job that you did on Friday at the wedding. We so appreciate all that you did to make the extremely challenging logistics work. It certainly took all of us to work together under tense circumstances. In the end our determination to include the power point and a video from different computers in different parts of the room prevailed and everything worked. An inexperienced DJ would not have been able to roll with the punches like you did including, I'm told that there wasn't even a table set up for you when you arrived. Then you pulled off an impromptu request to play music that was on a personal CD that my niece’s from the Ottawa Valley could step dance to. The crowd loved it and we were really appreciative that you could review the music and have it playing within minutes> What was awesome (at least your appearance) was to hold it together and keep everyone else calm. WOW!!! That's the one word I can think of to describe Scott and all his staff. They were SO professional and accomodating, they really seemed to understand what us brides are going through with the planning of our weddings and the amount of stress/pressure we are under. He went out of his way to help me with anything he could. He helped with all aspects of planning my reception. That alone made me so happy with his services but then when the day finally arrived and I saw how much fun EVERY one of my guests was having, from my niece who was my flower girl to my grandparents, they were all on the dance floor and smiling all night. I swear probably every person came up to me and told me how unique the games were, how much fun they had, and how my wedding stood out from all the others they had been to. When I saw that one of my all-time favorite Radio guys had
a DJ company and I could actually get him for my wedding I was totally
stoked. Right away I knew where we were going to book our DJ from. Are we
